Learn more about our offices across the UK

Man walks past a wall mural which reads Listen, Learn, Inspire - Ons ONS.

At the Office for National Statistics (ONS), we recognise that where and how you work can support your health, wellbeing and effectiveness. That’s why our offices in Newport, Titchfield, London, Darlington, Manchester and Edinburgh are modern, welcoming spaces designed to support collaboration, connection and flexible ways of working.

ONS operates a hybrid working model, giving many colleagues the flexibility to work between office and at home. We encourage colleagues to attend the office with purpose – for example, to collaborate with others, learn together or take part in activities that benefit individuals, teams or the organisation.

ONS works towards an overall organisational office attendance level of around 40%, rather than setting individual attendance targets. How this is achieved will vary by role and team, and existing flexible working arrangements, workplace adjustments and caring responsibilities are fully supported. Our approach is built on trust, inclusion and open conversations about what works best to deliver our mission.

Please see the job advert for specific requirements.
